Mozilla's Firefox browser will no longer be supported on Windows XP or Vista come June 2018. It announced on Wednesday that support would be fully ending. No more security updates will be provided after that point, giving people a big reason to upgrade their OS.
Things have been heading in this direction for a while. Mozilla's Firefox 53 release earlier this year got rid of support for those platforms, which meant XP and Vista users were moved to Firefox Extended Support Release. That followed its announcement in December 2016 that it'd be looking at user numbers to figure out support end dates.
