A startup called ESTI Inc has received all of its requested funding for an advanced iPhone case that'll effectively double as an Android phone. The company's Eye phone case has a 5-inch AMOLED display, a 2.3 GHz ARM Cortex-A53 CPU, a 2800 mAh battery, expandable storage, dual SIM slots, and wireless charging.
You can either get the case with cellular connectivity or without. ESTI says the setup lets the Android device utilize the iPhone's internet connection.
The two phones will also be integrated since the Android device uses the iPhone's speaker, microphone, and cameras.
It'll retail for $189 or $229 depending on if you want 4G support. Early Kickstarter backers have been able to get a unit for $95 to $129.
