Google Drive Contains Over 2 Trillion Files

Google's cloud storage service, Google Drive, passed 2 trillion files in April 2017. That stat was revealed by Prabhakar Raghavan, Google's VP for G Suite, during the company's Cloud Next event in London.
The service isn't quite at the billion user mark, but it has also already passed 800 million users.
Its 2 trillion files figure accounts for the number of documents, photos, videos, and other kinds of files stored on Drive. Drive contains people's documents from Google Docs as well as backed up content from their phones, so individual users could easily have hundreds of files on Drive.
