Android One Phones Reportedly Headed To US

Inexpensive handsets from Google's Android One program are reportedly going to be released in the United States. The Information reports the program is soon going to include the US. It previously expanded beyond India to reach Spain, Portugal, and some parts of Africa.
Android One devices are low-cost, regularly receive important updates, and they lack bloatware.
Since Google is unlikely to be the one manufacturing the US-bound phones, it's unclear which manufacturers will be involved. Some of Android One's international partners are Micromax, Cherry, and QMobile.
According to The Information, Android One phones could be introduced "before the middle of the year."
