Tesla Vehicles Will Soon Cost 5% More In UK

Currency value changes triggered by the Brexit decision are forcing Tesla to increase the cost of its vehicles in the UK. The company will raise custom order prices by 5% beginning January 1. Other vehicles aren't affected by the price change. A separate 3% price increase occurred in October.
With this latest update, the Model S' base price will rise around £3,000. Tesla revealed the price change in an email to customers and others. It blames the decision on "currency fluctuations."
The same "currency fluctuations" have led to price increases from a number of tech companies.
