More quality controls appear to be headed to Google Play Music for Android. An APK teardown completed by Android shows controls for WiFi and offline playback quality are going to be introduced. The app currently lets users adjust streaming quality when on a mobile network.
It's particularly important to have those controls when using Play Music over cellular since you can adjust your data usage, but having control in other cases can also be of use. You can reduce your storage space consumption, for example.
The teardown also revealed an optional autoplay feature that'll "automatically start playing music when you open the app."
