Microsoft has started rolling out the April 2018 update for Windows 10 from today, making it ready to download for all users. The company has been testing the update for quite a while now but seems finally ready to make it public. The update rolls out in stages though, so you’ll have to update it manually if you want it early. If you choose to wait, you will have to wait until May 9th.

The Windows 10 April 2018 update includes a bunch of new features, many of which have been talked about earlier. The update brings Microsoft’s new Timeline feature that lets you see all the apps you’ve been using on your Windows 10 PCs over a 30 day period. There’s also a new dictation update and a mute tab feature is being added to Microsoft Edge.
To get the update, you will need to download the company’s Update Assistant from its website. You will then need to download the Windows10Upgrade.exe file and click on the update now option. As long as you have a compatible PC, the update should start from here on. On the other hand, the ISO file can be found here.
