Bitcoin Surges Again, Passing $7,000

After setting records above $6,000 for the first time in the past few days, Bitcoin has surged again to place itself over $7,000. Its price grew to as much as $7,200 on some exchanges and going by Coinbase's figures the currency was up 9% during the last 24 hours at $7,140.
Prices have now settled, but they're being maintained around or above the $7,000 mark.
It only reached $5,000 in early October, so it's subsequently continued to break records in very little time. Whether this rise will be maintained or whether Bitcoin will decline, potentially by thousands, remains to be seen.
