Gmail Receives Native Add-Ons

Third-parties are now able to come out with add-ons that'll be integrated directly with Gmail. Support for add-ons was revealed by Google earlier this year and it has just now arrived. Among the first developers to work with the capability are Asana, Trello, DialPad, and Intuit Quickbooks.
All of the extra features so far are business-centric. Google hasn't mentioned when more consumer-oriented add-ons could become available. Also, support for add-ons is limited to the web and Android. There's no known timeline for an iOS rollout.
Some other services, like DocuSign, are on the way.
