Average American iOS User To Spend $88 Annually On Apps In 2019

Mobile application spending by the average iPhone user in the US will grow to $88 per year by 2020, according to a report from Sensor Tower. The amount people spend on apps and games has been consistently increasing. It's up 33% this year compared to 2016, with an average of $63.
Based on this forecast, app spending is expected to reach $77 next year and then $88 in 2019. This means there will be an 86% rise in spending by 2019 compared to 2016.
Games bring in significantly more income than regular apps. They'll account for 70% of the spending, meaning an average of $60 per year will go to in-app purchases and download costs.
