The ZenFone 4 smartphone series from Asus has become available in North America. As usual, the handset family launched overseas before reaching the United States. All three devices (the ZenFone 4 Pro, ZenFone 4, and ZenFone 4 Max) are now available.
At the top of the line is the ZenFone 4 Pro ($599). It offers a Snapdragon 835 processor, a 1920 x 1080 OLED display, and 6 GB of RAM.
The ZenFone 4 ($399) includes a Snapdragon 630 and lacks an OLED display.
And the least expensive member of the series is the ZenFone 4 Max, which begins at $169 for a 5.2-inch unit (the 5.5-inch model is $199). It only has a 720 x 1280 display and the 5.2-inch is running a Snapdragon 425, while the larger unit uses a Snapdragon 430.
