A test of Splatoon 2 will be available on the Nintendo Switch close to the console's launch. A free "Global Testfire" preview of the game will be available from March 24 to March 26. On each of those days, you'll be able to play for an hour or more.
While the test is pretty limited, it does let early console buyers check out Splatoon 2 well ahead of its summer release.
When the game is ready for a complete release, it'll come with local play modes and a LAN play mode, two features that facilitate eSports.
