China's Xiaomi is dominating the global wearable industry, with it coming out ahead of competitors like Apple and Fitbit. Strategy Analytics reports Xiaomi surpassed both of those competitors during Q2, reaching 3.7 million units shipped. That's compared to 3.4 million from Fitbit and 2.8 million from Apple.
A series of additional companies provided a total of 11.7 million units during the quarter.
Fitbit's device sales fell by 40%, though Apple experienced a significant rise--it had 1.8 million sales during the same period last year.
