Instagram is trying out a new feature that makes it easy for celebrities and influencers on the platform to reveal sponsored content. The tool is a simple label that reads "paid partnership with..." and it's an alternative to having people put their disclosure in the description of a post.
Disclosures of this sort can appear in the regular Instagram feed and in the Stories section. It'll not only make disclosures a little easier (people simply have to tag a brand), it'll make them more prominent.
The reveal of this feature follows a report that found most Instagram celebrities fail to properly disclosure their connection to companies.
