The Taiwanese tech giant ASUS appears to be working on a new smartphone that has now been benchmarked on the GFXBench. The handset has model number ASUS X00ID, but the model number and GFXBench listing don't really reveal the smartphone's real name.
ASUS X00ID features a 5.5-inch display with 1,280 x 720 pixels resolution, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage and is powered by a Qualcomm octa-core processor clocked at 1.4 GHz. The interesting part of the handset is dual rear camera setup, which consists out of a 12 MP primary and backed up by a secondary 5-megapixel camera. The front-facing camera has an 8-megapixel.
