Scratch Test Shows HTC U Ultra Is Extremely Scratch Resistant

Many flagship smartphones come with Corning's Gorilla Glass protection, which has proved over the last few years. As the company is developing its next-generation glass, some companies have decided to experiment with some other materials, like HTC with sapphire.
The HTC U Ultra Sapphire is significantly more expensive than the regular model and is hard to get one, but in return it offers some great scratch resistance along with impressive design and specifications.
According to JerryRigEverything and its latest video, the handset showed some hairline scratches on Mohs level 8, and failed to keep it scratch free on last level. For comparison, most start to fail from level 6.
While the sapphire glass is great, would you pay $150 more for the phone with sapphire glass?
