A new mobile Pokemon game is on the way and this time it's coming directly from Nintendo. Pokeland, an upcoming title for iOS and Android, requires an internet connection and Nintendo Account.
Pokeland features cross-island battles between monsters and you can collect and train various creatures.
An alpha test just for Android devices is beginning today. It's limited to the first 10,000 people who sign up. There will be 6 islands, 52 stages, 15 levels, and 134 creators to check out in the alpha. Progress from the test doesn't transfer to the full game.
Alpha testing will continue in Japan until June 9.
