Spotify is going to grow its presence in Asia by launching in Vietnam and Thailand. Once it's available in those areas, Spotify will open up to over 100 million new potential users. Sources speaking with TechCrunch say the company is also more seriously working on an Indian expansion.
No confirmation about the rumored expansions was provided by the music streaming company itself.
Spotify is known to be hiring a "music editor" for both markets, however, which is a sign the report is accurate. Those jobs are based in Spotify's Singapore location, which is its headquarters for the Asia Pacific region.
