A lot has been said about Apple's upcoming iPhone 8, but the handset is still quite a mystery. Some reports are saying it should arrive later this year, some that display issues have postponed the phone until early 2018. Either way, a new set of renders, based on leaked CAD images, has emerged online.
It is still too early to say that these renders are showing the final version of the handset, since no official details are released by Apple. However, they are in line with what has been said about the phone and currently offer the most accurate look yet at iPhone 8.
We can see a nearly edge-to-edge OLED display with an all-glass design and stainless steel edges. The rear features vertical dual cameras and there is no Touch ID on the rear. The report also says that iPhone 8 measures 143.5 x 70.9 x 7.7 mm, making it slightly thicker than both the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, which measure 7.1 mm and 7.3 mm, respectively.
