Many companies are now announcing new affordable laptops with Windows 10 S operating system aimed at the education sector, but ASUS decided to unveil two new budget notebooks powered by Intel Apollo Lake processors and Windows 10 Home operating system. Those that don't want Windows 10 Home variant can get it with Endless OS, an Ubuntu-based GNU/Linux operating system designed for use in developing markets.
Both models feature 11.6-inch displays and the main difference is different processor - the Asus VivoBook E12 E203NA packs Intel Celeron N3350 dual-core, while the VivoBook E12 E203NAH has Pentium N4200 quad-core processor. The latter also feature 500 or 1 TB HDD, while the former comes with 32 GB, 64 GB or 128 GB.
Pricing and availability details are still unknown.
