Amazon may introduce a new Echo model with a touchscreen on Tuesday. The Alexa-powered device recently showed up in leaked pictures and now The Wall Street Journalclaims Amazon is close to introducing it for $200. It also has a camera and is capable of video calling, unlike the Echo and Echo Dot.
With the device's touchscreen, the new Echo product will be optimized for browsing Amazon's main eCommerce site. Its unveiling will closely follow that of the Echo Style, another Alexa-based device that can analyze a user's appearance.
Video calling, though expected to arrive on the new Echo, might not be available when it's first released.
