Snapchat has released the ability to search through all of the app's publicly available Stories. The search function applies to over 1 million Stories, enabling people to find content that fits with a given keyword.
This feature is reliant on machine learning technology that has gone through Snapchat's Stories and tried to figure out what they show. Based on the components that are identified, Stories can be placed in categories.
Search is initially reaching a few cities and it'll slowly roll out to the whole Snapchat user base from there.
