Twitter Gets Rid Of Egg Profile Photos

Twitter "eggs" have become a thing of the past. The social network has finally replaced its default egg profile pictures with a human-shaped icon. People have been presented with an egg for their default photo ever since 2010.
As the years have passed, egg accounts have been increasingly associated with trolls and bots, both of which are disliked by the rest of Twitter. Although the photo has changed, the association between non-unique profile pictures and undesirable behavior won't change.
Twitter doesn't require users to upload a unique profile photo partly because it can complicate the setup process for some people
