Earlier this year, Nintendo announced that its extremely popular NES Classic Edition, which sold in 1.5 million units, is no longer available for sale and that the production has ended. Many were surprised why Nintendo did that, but reportedly the console could be coming back.
According to the folks at Polygon and the Japanese website for the Famicom Classic Edition, a Japan's version of the NES Classic Edition, Nintendo might resume the production of the console.
According to the translation, the message reads "This product has ended production for now. When production is being resumed, we will tell you on our website." Until we get official confirmation about this, don't get your hopes up just yet.
