A court in Rome has paused an earlier court decision that would have almost immediately banned Uber throughout the country. The new order overturns a lower court decision, at least for right now. Uber will be allowed to continue operating while it pursues its appeal.

The company is going to "continue fighting" the decision.
Uber has faced opposition from taxi drivers in Italy during its entire time in the market. A court ruled against the service earlier this month.
