Back in May last year, HP officially unveiled the Omen X backpack computer for virtual reality. During the announcement, HP never mentioned the price or launch date and we now know why. The company wanted to gather as much feedback as it could about various things before launching it.
We are still going to wait a few more weeks, as the company plans to launch the VR-ready PC in June, but the official price tag is still not known. One thing is for sure, it will have a hard competition as many other companies, including MSI, Intel, Zotac and Dell, are all working on their own VR-ready backpack PCs.
