Samsung has yet to officially launch the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus smartphones and we are now hearing that the company plans to make a rugged version of its flagship handset. The Galaxy S8 Active is codenamed Cruiser and has model number SM-G892A.
The handset will be sold by AT&T and will be more durable than the regular models with probably the MIL-STD-810G certification. Not much is known about it, but some reports suggest it could have a flat display and physical buttons, like its predecessors. Samsung usually unveils Active handsets in June so more details will be known until then.
