Google Daydream Platform Not Compatible With Samsung's Galaxy S8 And Galaxy S8 Plus

Google's Daydream VR platform debuted with the Pixel smartphones and while many new phones enabled support for the platform, Samsung refused to do that with the latest Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus smartphones. According to VRHeads, they tried to install Daydream on the S8 only to find an error message appearing on the device.
Since Samsung has its own Gear VR platform, it is most likely that Samsung doesn't want to enable it. The company might change its mind in the future since the Galaxy S8 meets all the requirements necessary to support Google Daydream VR fully.
