Apple's more significantly updated iPhone for 2017, which many have referred to as the iPhone 8, could end up being called the iPhone Edition. iDrop News reports the manufacturing process for the phone has begun and its name is known.
The iPhone Edition is claimed to have a nearly bezel-less display, no home button, a rear fingerprint scanner, and a vertically positioned camera.
It'll reportedly use a 5.8-inch OLED display and offer wireless charging.
These design changes are far greater than what's expected with the more mainstream iPhone 7s.
Apple has used "edition" in naming before, such as with the Apple Watch Edition, so it's possible it could be applied with a higher-end iPhone.
