Microsoft's alternative to Slack, known as Microsoft Teams, will become available next week. It's been available since late 2016 for a small group of users. Microsoft will hold an online event on March 14 to show off the service to Office 365 users.
A lot of its features are reminiscent of Slack, with some of the differences being that Teams has greater integration with Office and Skype.
The March 14 event will mark its availability for the general public and will likely be used to demonstrate some of Teams' core features. You can register for the event here.
