Google Pixel And Pixel XL Owners Are Reporting Microphone Issues

You may have heard about the recent audio distortion issues with Google Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones. Although it was believed that the issue is hardware-related, the February security patch fixed the issue. Unfortunately, more issues have been discovered since then.
According to new reports, the Google Pixel and Pixel XL have been experiencing severe microphone problems. Google's employee said that the root cause of microphone failure is probably hardware related, such as hairline crack in the soldering or a faulty microphone. He added that both issues are rare and affect less than 1 percent of users.
If you are one of the affected owners, you could temporary fix your phone by heating it or pressing at that spot, but it would be best to contact Google.
