ASUS Resumes Nougat Update For Two ZenFone 3 Handsets

Due to some bugs that needed to be addressed, ASUS stopped rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat update for ZenFone 3 smartphones. Now, almost two months later, the company is finally rolling out the same update with fixed issues for the ZenFone 3 models.

Only ASUS ZenFone 3 ZE552KL and ZenFone 3 ZE520KL models are receiving the update, while other phones are still on the waiting list. The update is based on Android 7.0 Nougat, and besides the usual improvements and changes, it adds bundled notifications switch and improved touch performance, but removes Asus Share Link.
