At MWC 2017, we have seen a first smartphone that can capture 1000fps videos. As expected, Sony is the maker of such phone thanks to its IMX400 camera sensor, but while the Xperia XZ Premium might be the first, it won't be the only one as Samsung has it covered.
New reports suggest that both Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus models will be able to shoot 1000fps videos, but they are not using Sony's IMX400 sensor. The same report also mentions that the phone's iris scanner will be improved with a tiny 3.7 MP camera for better eye recognition
