A lawsuit has been filed against Facebook in Israel due to the network blocking links to a site that's been critical of the company. The site, Mizbala, is a marketing and creative agency based in Israel.
Mizbala has posted multiple pieces of content critical of Facebook. It's particularly taken aim at the network for its allegedly aggressive blocking of users and posts.
After it made posts critical of Facebook, Mizbala ended up being blocked on the site. Its earlier links were removed and people attempting to post a Mizbala link were sold the site was considered "unsafe."
Mizbala is now suing Facebook in Israel, claiming the block and warning are defamatory and create a "false description" of the agency.
