SoundCloud has introduced a cheaper music streaming tier that brings down the cost of the service from $10 to $5 per month. The cheaper tier is known as SoundCloud Go while the $10 option is SoundCloud Go+.
The difference between them is that the cheaper option has ad-free access to 120 million tracks and the ability to save offline on mobile. SoundCloud Go+ offers access to 150 million songs and "additional exclusive product features" that will be announced later in 2017.
SoundCloud first introduced its subscription offer last March. Now it may gain additional users by undercutting services like Spotify with a cheaper plan.
