When LG officially unveiled its next-gen flagship smartphone, the company never mentioned anything about pricing or availability. Well, according to new details, they had a pretty good reason why. LG chose to Snapdragon 821 and made some other cuts to bring the price down, but the phone is still very expensive.
During an interview with LG Electronics mobile chief Cho Juno, we have learned that the phone will cost KRW 899,800 in its home Korean market, which is around $800. It is safe to assume that the price will be at least $799 and even more on other markets. The LG G6 will hit the stores on March 10.
We will make new investments for promotional activities in April and May before the phone's full-scale shipment starts in the third quarter. We need to see the spending and device sales during the period. Sales will be better than those of the G5 or V20. We cannot reveal the sales target.
