A Fitbit Alta with a heart rate sensor (the Fitbit Alta HR) appears to be in the works, according to a new leak. Wareable spotted a piece of text in the Fitbit website's source code that includes the name "Alta HR," indicating that model may be coming down the pike. It also found an image of the product.
The Alta HR could conceivably be introduced in the coming months.
As per the image, the Alta HR definitely has a heart rate sensor and there seems to be a slightly updated strap.
