After the controversial launch of Dell's XPS 15 models, which were expected to include a fingerprint scanner, Dell has now added an option to include the scanner with all models. Both the XPS 13 and XPS 15 can be configured with the fingerprint scanner, and the upgrade is relatively cheap.
