Patent filings from Microsoft reveal the company has come up with a design for a foldable phone that can transform into a tablet. The filings include notes and diagrams pertaining to a smartphone that can either become a tablet or be used in a "tent" mode.
Multiple displays are included with the device, allowing it to become larger in some configurations.
Although the patent filing was recently discovered, it was submitted in 2014. It comes from Kabir Siddiqui, the same employee who was listed on the patents for Microsoft's Surface kickstand and Surface camera.
