Several Huawei smartphones already received EMUI 5.0 update, which is based on Android 7.0 Nougat. Those smartphones are the flagship Mate 9, followed by the P9, P9 Plus and Mate 8. The company confirmed that more smartphones would get the update, but never said exactly when.
Thankfully, a roadmap of the Nougat update schedule has leaked online, which shows that the next phone to get Nougat update would be the Huawei Nova in March, followed by Huawei Honor Note 8 and Huawei G9 Plus in April. Two more phones, the Honor 6X and MediaPad M3, will get the update in May.
