During the announcement of promising HTC U series of smartphones, the company has also revealed some future plans. Chialin Chang, President of HTC's Smartphone and Connected Devices Business, confirmed to Engadget that they plan to release only 6-7 phones this year.
Since they already released two new phones, the U Ultra and U Play, expect to see only 4 or 5 new phones. The biggest news is that we won't see HTC 11 this year, at least it won't be called like that. Chang said that the handset won't have this name, but refused to reveal more details about it.
