Court Decides Apple Can Be Sued For Allegedly Creating Monopoly In App Market

In a reversal of a decision from 2013, the 9th US Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled Apple can face lawsuits from those claiming the company created a monopoly in the mobile app market. Lawsuits of that sort rely on the claim that a monopoly was instituted because iOS users are forced to use its App Store.
Users originally filed their case in 2012, claiming there was a monopoly since they could only use apps approved by Apple. They also claimed prices were artificially raised by the restrictive nature of the App Store.
Apple argues it's not legally at fault. It's basically just giving developers space to put their apps and developers are responsible for picking prices.
