Fox Getting Into Gaming, VR, And AR

Fox, a company known for TV shows and movies, has established a new division dedicated to gaming, virtual reality, and augmented reality. The division, called FoxNext, is also working on "location-based entertainment" like theme parks. It'll collaborate with the existing TV and film divisions.
Salil Mehta, formerly 20th Century Fox's president for content management, is going to run FoxNext.
Some of Fox's existing gaming efforts like The Simpsons: Tapped Out will be moved into the division.
FoxNext represents a natural next step in defining our long-term vision in this arena. And Salil is quite simply the perfect executive to build this group into what we know will be an industry leader.- Fox
