Capcom Confirms Resident Evil 7 Is Absent From Nintendo Switch

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is not going to be available on the Nintendo Switch. Capcom is known to be considering titles for the console, but games from the Resident Evil series aren't going to be released on the platform. The game's producer, Masachika Kawata, told Express Online that there are no plans for a Switch version.
I'm looking forward to the possibilities of the system itself, but we have no plans at the moment regarding Resident Evil on Switch,- Kawata
Capcom is listed as a development partner for the upcoming console. It's expected at least some games from the company will be available on the Switch.
Resident Evil 7 will be out on January 24 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
