ASUS Introduces Raspberry Pi 3 Competitor Called Tinker Board

Thanks to new technologies, companies are able to design compact computers. As for developers, makers and other hobbyists of single-board computers, the situation is slowly becoming better. The Raspberry Pi computers were one of the best single-board computers, but more companies want a piece of that market.
ASUS has now announced Tinker Board that is very similar to the Raspberry Pi. It has the same size and positioning of ports and GPIO, but is more powerful. The computer packs a Rockchip RK3288 ARM Cortex-A17 quad-core processor with ARM Mali-T764 graphics, 2 GB of RAM, and a microSD card slot for storage. In terms of connectivity, there is 802.11b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0, a 10/100/1000 Ethernet jack, four USB 2.0 ports, HDMI output, a 40-pin header for additional expansion options and a microUSB for power.
