Valve Releases Huge DotA 2 Patch
Valve has been making various improvements to DotA 2 over the years, but the company has just released a huge, most anticipated DotA 2 update. The DotA 2 7.00 patch comes with various improvements, including a new interface, new gameplay, and the long-awaited hero, Monkey King.
Most of the details were already known, but here are the contents and highlights of the Dota 2 7.00 patch.
The new hero Monkey King is a melee core hero, specialized in escape and control in the game. He also has an innate power called Mischief, which allows him to change his form (depending on the environment) to deceive enemies. More about his abilities are available here.
HUD has received a total redesign with sleek and minimalistic look, the new pre-game flow allows players to strategically plan items with a short intro for an extra time. There is a new building called "Shrine" that provides healing aura once activated for a specific time frame.
Impressions about the update are mixed. Some like new changes, some don't, but you can read more about the update here.
