Following a few weeks of testing, Twitch has officially announced a new content category called IRL. The new category is aimed at people who wants to broadcast anything about their life, communicate with fans, or share their opinions. There are also some other features coming to the app in 2017.
Except for the new IRL (In Real Life) category for vlogs, the company will also launch mobile broadcasting from phones and update community guidelines. The mobile broadcasting will allow creators to live stream directly from their smartphones using the Twitch app. New features are expected to be released in 2017, but you can sign up to take part in a closed beta.
