First Benchmarks Of Intel's High-End Mobile Kaby Lake CPU

For 2017, Intel is preparing to release their high-end Kaby Lake processors for both desktop and mobile computers. Ahead of the official launch, the high-end mobile Kaby Lake processor has leaked online, and revealed what kind of improvements it will bring compared to the Core i7-6700HQ.
Folks at LaptopMedia have managed to get their hands on Intel Core i7-7700HQ. The processor is based on Kaby Lake architecture and has a 2.8 GHz base clock with 3.8 GHz Turbo Boost. That is around 200-300 MHz higher than the current model, but the TDP has remained the same at 45W. According to benchmarks, the new CPU is around 2% to 6% faster, which isn't impressive. Hopefully it will bring some other improvements that would justify selling your current rig and getting a new one with this CPU.
