Still just days after its launch on iOS, Super Mario Run is over 50 million downloads. While prior stats came from third-parties, this stat is from Nintendo itself. Nintendo is celebrating the milestone by giving every player 10 free Toad Rally tickets.
The game has only been out since December 15. It was highly anticipated and quickly received millions of downloads. Many reviews aren't terribly positive, so analysts have revised their expectations for its performance downward.
Super Mario Run is initially free, but the full game comes with a one-time $10 fee.
