Gear VR has become much more social. It now includes voice chat and virtual living rooms. The former, known as Parties, is a straightforward chat system that lets you communicate with other users when you're wearing the headset. The latter, known as Rooms, is even more interesting.
Rooms are designed like high-tech living rooms and you can use them to meet up with friends. Together, you can interact with objects in the Rooms, play simple games, or watch videos on a virtual TV.
Support for streaming to Facebook has also been added, allowing other people to see what you're doing in the Gear VR's Rooms.
